Space Division ?Kicks Some A** And Takes Some NamesCuts two new Dodge spots through BBDO Detroit (November 04, 2004)
Space Division, a leading creative editorial and design company based in Santa Ana, CA, specializing in creative editorial, graphic design and finishing for commercials, has edited two new 30-second DODGE spots promoting the Dodge Ram Big Horn truck. The announcement was made by Space Division principal Chris Willoughby, who served as the Editor of the spots. The spots broke in mid-October. Space Divisions client was BBDO Detroit.
The spots, which were shot in Agoura Hills and San Bernadino, CA, are entitled ?Names, and ?Bikers. In ?Names, we see the Big Horn driving across a concrete desert, but the driving is unusually staccato with many starts and stops. As the announcer describes the trucks features, its engine, wheels, style and passenger comfort, the VO says, ?For the past two years, the Big Horn has been Kicking ?A** and Takin Names! The camera then pulls back to reveal that the Big Horn has been writing the names of its competitors on the concrete with its tires.
In ?Bikers, we see the Big Horn ?confront a horde of motorcycle bikers. After a ?showdown, the bikers accept the truck and allow it to park in one of their parking spaces at a local biker joint. The VO says, ?The 2005 Ram Big Horn has just arrived, but it already has a reputation.
