Sorenson To Ship Squeeze for Mac OS XCompressor supports Flash MX and QuickTime
Sorenson's Spark codec has been incorporated into the Flash 6 player to allow for the integration of video content into Flash presentations. Squeeze for Macromedia Flash MX accesses the more advanced features of the Professional version, including two-pass variable bit rate, cropping, inverse telecine, multiple filters and editing features.
Squeeze for QuickTime includes the Sorenson Video 3 Professional codec, which, in addition to the features in the standard version of the Sorenson codec, supports on- and two-pass variable bit rate encoding.
Squeeze aso includes integration with Sorenson Vcast, a live and on demand video Webcasting service, allowing users to compress, manage and deliver compressed QuickTime, FLV and SWF video content over the Web.
Sorenson Squeeze for Macromedia Flash MX and Sorenson Squeeze for QuickTime will be available electronically later this week for Macintosh OS 9.2 and OS X.
