Slalom Consulting and Scribe Form Strategic Partnership for Data Migration and IntegrationGrowing Business and Technology Consultancy Chooses Scribe Over Competitors for Faster Time to Market With Microsoft Dynamics CRM (February 07, 2012)
SEATTLE, WA and MANCHESTER, NH -- (Marketwire) -- 02/07/12 -- Slalom Consulting, a national business and technology consulting firm, and Scribe, the global leader in CRM data integration solutions, today announced the formation of a strategic partnership to expedite time to market for Microsoft Dynamics CRM implementations. After an extensive review of major integration solution providers, Slalom chose to partner with Scribe on Microsoft Dynamics CRM business. Slalom based its decision on Scribe's leadership in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM market, the company's extensive enterprise integration experience and the Scribe Integration Platform's overall value.
"Scribe has made significant investments in the integration of Microsoft Dynamics CRM with a full range of Fortune 500 systems," said Slalom national solution director for CRM, Brian Rimmer. "Scribe provides much greater value compared to custom integration development, which can be up to five times more expensive, depending on the client. Working with Scribe is a quick and seamless process; we can get to market faster with better and more repeatable CRM integrations."
In a recent Dynamics CRM project for a national non-profit organization, Slalom was able to take full advantage of Scribe's flexibility and scalability. The implementation involved migrating millions of customer records from Siebel into Dynamics CRM. The client wanted the data transfer done gradually, group by group of customers and accounts, rather than as a master data file migrated all at once. After migrating the data from the first division, the team systematically transferred similar data from a second division. Scribe provides Slalom with a flexible and scalable solution that fits customers' needs.
"Scribe is a trusted advisor and credible partner in helping us secure new business," Mr. Rimmer added. "Working with Scribe has solidified our position as a respected Microsoft Dynamics partner. We're using Scribe in technical pre-sales as well as for data migration and integration between Dynamics and Lotus Notes, Salesforce.com, SAP, Siebel and custom-built enterprise systems. We're also evaluating using Scribe Online Replication Services (RS) for data protection in customers' data warehouses and for ways to leverage RS with our growing CRM Online customer base."
"Scribe is focused on building strategic relationships with dynamic partners like Slalom," said Lou Guercia, president and CEO of Scribe. "Both companies are well-positioned to help accelerate the growth of our overall Microsoft Dynamics and enterprise integration businesses. We look forward to collaborating with Slalom in 2012."
