SignaSys Improves Efficiency For Tri-Valley Community TV

Opens new possibilities for economical news production and play-out (December 28, 2004)

SignaSys, Inc. announced today its project with San Francisco Bay Area based Tri-Valley Community Television, better known as TV30. TV30 is located on a site near downtown Pleasanton, CA and is looking to modernize its operation during a move into a new studio facility.

Mark Brown, SignaSys CTO states: ?SignaSys is helping lead TV30s transition by integrating IT and broadcast technologies with an updated operational workflow. The core of the new plant will be designed around a digital infrastructure, implementing todays most current digital servers, routing, and branding. TV30 produces an award-winning local access newscast, which will now be played-out under full automation control. SignaSys is borrowing from both, traditional broadcast-technology manufacturers, as well as internet technology companies, to strike the required balance between system performance, reliability, and budget pressures.

Says Bruce Goddard, Tri-Valley Executive Director, ?Throughout this multi-phase project, SignaSys has provided balanced views and leadership along every step of the way, which has been challenging at times! We selected SignaSys amongst a group of leading integrators, because of their creative and innovative approach to solving our problems and reaching our objectives. Since then, we have also learned about their culture of commitment and persistence.

Local subscribers of Comcast will have an opportunity to enjoy the benefits of the new facility and mobile unit by September 2005.
