SignNow Launches iPad App and Raises $2m From Khosla Ventures(March 06, 2012)
Newport Beach, CA (PRWEB) March 06, 2012
SignNow announced raising over $2M in Series A funding from top Silicon Valley investors, including Khosla Ventures, as they launch their iPad app. The free app allows people to sign any document from their iPad and get other peoples signatures. SignNows goal is to eliminate the need for fax machines, scanners and printers.
SignNow has released a wave of mobile products in 2012, including iPhone, Android, and now iPad apps. The percentage of people using the application on their tablets is growing faster than both the web version (http://www.signnow.com) or the mobile apps. SignNow is free to download and free to use.
CEO Chris Hawkins said, We are excited to see how quickly the tablet market is growing. Devices like the iPad are replacing laptops for a lot of people and signing documents is very natural on tablets. Over 10% of our Android users are using SignNow on tablets.
Using the iPad app is easy. First, a user opens a document from their email or Dropbox. Next, they sign with a finger or invite someone to sign with a convenient email link. If they have a free account, documents are automatically saved to their SignNow account, making them accessible from anywhere and securely stored for reference.

Hawkins added, We have worked hard to make the signing process as painless as possible and people are responding. We have had everyone from truckers to wedding photographers thank us personally for making it easier to do business. Its why we get up in the morning.
Additionally, Sean Ellis, who played key early marketing roles for Dropbox, Eventbrite, Xobni, LogMeIn, and others, has joined SignNow's Board of Directors. Thor Clark, CTO at SignNow joins the team with a successful background as CTO at Investools, which was acquired by TD Ameritrade, CTO at Telescan , and varying roles at Yahoo!
SignNow is the free and easy way to sign documents and much more. Our goal at SignNow is to let everyone sign agreements anywhere they want using any device, and then to make those agreements easy to enforce. SignNow hopes to eliminate the question, "Did this person actually sign this document?" Find them at http://www.signnow.com
