Side Effects Software Announces New Houdini Trainer Certification Opportunities

Side Effects Software has announced a seminar at SIGGRAPH 2001 to address demand for Houdini skills and Certified Houdini Trainers. The event will appeal to school staff with plans to expand their 3D animation offerings and trainers interested in augmenting their existing skill set to take advantage of employment opportunities. Seminar attendees will hear from the Digital Domain training manager, San Francisco Academy of Art College staff, and a certified Houdini freelance trainer. Speakers will share Houdini trainer certification opportunities and experiences. The training and education seminar will take place on Sunday, August 12th at noon at the Westin-Bonaventure Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.

Increasing Demand for Certified Houdini Trainers Worldwide

Demand for Houdini-trained artists worldwide means an increased demand for Certified Houdini Trainers. Certification Fee Reduced for Applicants Attending SIGGRAPH 2001 Event

All attendees to Side Effects¹ SIGGRAPH 2001 training and education seminar will be eligible for a 50% discount on the Introductory Certification application fee should they choose to enroll. There is typically a US$500 application fee for each certification level and, with this special offer, qualifying applicants can enroll for the Houdini Introductory Certification for only US$250. All full and part-time instructors currently teaching 3D topics at any educational institution or training center or with a minimum of one year of Houdini production experience will qualify.
