SiPix Debuts $200 Camera

SC-3300 offers 3.3 megapixel resolution By Dave Nagel
SiPix has debuted its new SC-3300 digital camera. The new low-end model offers still and motion capture and a 3.3 megapixel resolutionn for $199.99. According to the company, it will be available this winter.

The SC-3300 features a 1.6-inch color LCD, a 3x digital zoom, 16 MB of internal memory and a CompactFlash slot for additional memory. Other features include:

  • Movie mode for recording video up to 15 FPS;
  • A macro lens;
  • Continuous-shot mode for capturing up to 4 images in succession;
  • A four-mode flash (auto, on, off and red-eye reduction);
  • Self timer.

The SiPix SC-3300 sell for $199.99 and will include a USB cable, camera strap, quick start guide and 2 AA batteries. For more information, visit
