ShoreTels Cloud Division Among Crains New York Business Fast 50(June 28, 2012)
Sunnyvale, CA (PRWEB) June 28, 2012
ShoreTel® (NASDAQ; SHOR), the leading provider of brilliantly simple premise and cloud-based business phone system and communication solutions with fully integrated unified communications (UC), today announced that its cloud division, formerly known as M5 Networks, has earned the #20 spot on Crain's New York Business Fast 50 list.
The Fast 50 was open to privately held companies in the New York City area. Firms had to have at least $20 million in revenues in 2011 to enter. Crains ranked them based on revenue growth, as a percentage, from 2008 to 2011. Publicly held companies, real estate investment trusts (REITs), regulated banks, real estate developers, utilities, holding companies, subsidiaries/divisions and franchises are not included in the results. M5 was considered for inclusion based on financial results prior to the acquisition by ShoreTel.
We are very excited to have been included among this impressive list of companies, said Dan Hoffman, ShoreTel Cloud Division President. The increasing demand for cloud-based phone systems and unified communications features that are easy to use and fully managed has fueled our rapid growth. Now as a part of ShoreTel, customers can expect even more innovation.
Just last week, the company announced the release of ShoreTel Mobility for customers of ShoreTels M5 cloud division. The solution extends the voice and unified communications (UC) applications businesses love to the smartphone. Users are able to leverage a single converged device for both business and personal communications, and access deskphone and UC capabilities on their iPhone without having to learn a new interface.
