Sharp Adds to Notevision Projector LineC40 offers XGA resolution, 2,000 ANSI lumens
The C40 uses a 2,000-hour lamp and has a built-in 3-watt audio system. It also sports connections for two computers (Macintosh and PC), as well as composite and S-video ports. It also includes Sharp's PresenterPAK and remote projector management software.
The remote management software allows the projector to self-diagnose problems and report problems to a host computer and automatically forward mail alerts to a user-defined list.
The PresenterPAK is Sharp's term for its graphical user interface and other presentation tools. These include a customizable start-up screen, a break timer and image adjustment features.
The Notevision C40 has automatic and manual image-adjustment features, including:
- AutoSYNC, which automatically adjusts computer images without having to access the projector's menu system.
- ImageACE Resizing, which automatically adjusts source resolutions to match the projector's native resolution (up to SXGA) on Macs and some other data sources.
- Support for NTSC, PAL, SECAM and DTV video signals.
- Digital keystone correction with edge smoothing.
The Notevision C40 is available for $6,295. For more information, visit http://www.sharplcd.com.
