Seven, the award-winning content agency, has won a contract to design and produce British Tennis Quarterly, the new publication from the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA). The magazine will be distributed free to 3,000 tennis venues, including clubs, parks and schools, and also in digital format to all British Tennis members, to help support those involved in tennis in Britain.
The publication is aimed at those involved in tennis at all levels, and freely delivered to registered tennis venues, offering readers a practical resource thats full of inspirational information and advice relating to tennis to help them play, watch and compete more effectively.
British Tennis Quarterly is a vibrant mix of pictorial-led features and information-rich pages focusing on the world of British Tennis. Motivational content includes coaching tips and how to guides from leading tennis experts that are written to appeal to a wide demographic.
Teams from Seven and the LTA will work together to ensure the project benefits from both Sevens expert knowledge in membership-focused content and the tennis expertise of the LTA. The team has produced a compelling, well-crafted publication to suit the needs and interests of the modern tennis player.
Seven has implemented an innovative design and format to help British Tennis Quarterly stand out in clubs around the country and support editorial rationale effectively. Seven also produce other LTA communications, including the British Tennis Members email newsletter, which is sent to 320,000 members; and the production of programmes and orders of play for events, including the Davis Cup.
Sean King, CEO at Seven, said: The sports and membership sector is an area of expertise for Seven and a growing sector for us. Clients in this space recognise the importance of engaging their members with effective, compelling content. They are also aware that they can work with the very best content engagement agencies to add value to their activities and engage their members more effectively. In 2011, this will be a real focus for Seven, as we capitalise on the success of 2010.
