Searching for the Next Gisele, Top Talent Site Launches Model Contest

As scouts scour the streets for a new Alessandra Ambrosio or Adriana Lima, the leading talent site, eTalentShowcase.com, is betting the next generation of supermodels would rather not stand around waiting to be discovered. Instead, models can enter the sites Make Me a Supermodel contest during the month of February 2013 and jumpstart their careers. The contest, which does not require contestants to have any previous modeling experience, offers national exposure in addition to prizes that include a professional photo shoot and an iPad Mini (to help the winner navigate her new-found career).

Contestants can enter at eTalentShowcase.com/contest. At the end of February, a list of ten finalists will be announced and the voting will open to the public via eTalentShowcases Facebook page. The model with the most votes will be announced on March 14th.

Representing the contest on all marketing and promotional materials is model Joy Martin. The 24-year-old, LA-based Martin was chosen from hundreds of eTalentShowcase.com members. This is the kind of exposure models dream about, says Martin. I feel really lucky to be part of a contest thats looking to discover and nurture young, talented people.
