They also display JPEG images so viewers can watch picture slide shows burned to CD from digital cameras in the comfort of their living rooms instead of huddling around a small computer monitor. Remote control technology rounds out the HTiB package. The AnyNet Interface lets users control other AnyNet-enabled Samsung home theater equipment for the easiest viewing experience around.
"Samsung's newest generation of HTiB products unite home theater and PC technology so users can appreciate all their digital entertainment on the best sound system in the house," said Bill Hadam, Senior Manager, Digital Audio, Samsung Electronics America . "With the comprehensive playback options we've packed into these DVD models, the Home Theater in a Box bar has been raised significantly."

Plug in any MP3/WMA Plug and Play device and enjoy all the music stored on the digital audio device through 800 watts of power or simply plug a digital camera into the USB port to view pictures on the TV screen.
People who prefer more convenience should consider the HT-WP38. The upgraded unit employs wireless Bluetooth technology so installation is easy. Simply plug in the receiver/amplifier tower in the back of the room and place the rear speakers where they sound best without worrying about running long lengths of speaker wire through the room's interior from the front of the room to the rear.

The HT-P40 fills rooms big and small with a 5.1 channel digital amplifier boasting 800 watts (134W x 5 +130W x 1) of powerful sound. Like all of the 2005 HTiB offerings, the HT-P40 offers an AM/FM digital tuner with 30 station presets, and can decode Dolby Digital, DTS, and Dolby Pro Logic signals.
Samsung also offers the HT-HDP40, which features High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) input and output to keep the digital signal flowing through a single cable. HDTV owners will appreciate the Faroudja DCDi up-scaler feature so they can view their favorite DVD's in resolutions up to 720P or 1080i. The HT-P40 is currently available at MSRP $299. The HT-HDP40 is currently available at MSRP $399.
The HT-P50 combines the best of both worlds of the HT-P38 and HT-HDP40 by offering both USB Plug & Play as well as HDMI output in one chassis. The 1000 watts of total output power make the HT-P50 a premium home theater system. Expect top performance from this 5-disc changer that supports many advanced playback options, including DivX, MP3/WMA disc, DVD Audio, and JPEG-disc picture viewer.
Consumers need not utilize their shelf space for speakers because the HT-P50 features two way, wall mountable cylindrical speakers with a swivel base pedestal design. Simply twist and lock the pedestal at the preferred angle and choose whether you want to wall mount these speakers for a truly unique look or have them sit on a table top.
The HT-P50 is currently available at MSRP $449.
The HT-P29 is a budget friendly HTiB system with a 5-disc changer that offers a winning combination of performance and value. Powered by a pure digital amplifier, the system provides 600W of robust audio power. A rear A/V input and output, composite video input/output, and component video output allow multiple device connections.
