Salem Radio Network (SRN) and Radio America Announce Exclusive Distribution Agreement(February 13, 2012)
DALLAS, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 02/13/12 -- The Salem Radio Network (SRN), a division of Salem Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: SALM), today announced it has reached agreement with the Radio America network for SRN News to become the exclusive top-of-the-hour and bottom-of-the-hour news service distributed by Radio America, effective Thursday, February 16th.
In a joint statement, SRN and Radio America noted that under this agreement, SRN News will now be available to over 400 Radio America affiliates.
Greg Anderson, President of SRN, welcomed the network's new distribution relationship with Radio America: "The potential of adding up to 400 Radio America affiliates to our roster of almost 1,300 current SRN News affiliates is very exciting for us.
