Singapore hosts the first Siggraph Asia: Digital Art By Ko Maruyama
2008 marked the first ACM SIGGRAPH Conference in Asia.  Almost 2 years in the making, the Asian SIGGRAPH is host to computer artists of all kinds.  While I wasn't able to attend this year, Evan Ricks was close enough to Singapore to hop over so he could create these video diaries.  The event is centered around digital art, so the gallery is where we'll start.

The Siggraph Asia Art Show is much more than just a simple gallery of digital artwork, like the dynamic pieces that were showcased at the Los Angeles Siggraph expo, the Singapore Siggraph expo was host to some inventive and forward-challenging digital experiments.

Evan has a quick walkthrough of both the showfloor and the ArtShow as well.
