SAFE and Moby Form Alliance to Kick Off NAR Safety Month for Real Estate Professionals(September 07, 2011)
Vancouver, BC (PRWEB) September 07, 2011
One of the most recognizable faces in real estate safety has put his name behind a leading smartphone software provider in an effort to encourage real estate professionals to use all the tools at their disposal to protect themselves in the workplace. Andrew Wooten and his SAFE training organization has formed an alliance with Moby to add private location sharing, automated check-ins, and safety alerts to his existing collection of recommended processes to enhance safety and security.
I have seen a lot of products purporting to be the next big thing for realtor safety, but few fit the bill, says Mr. Wooten, I have been very impressed with the Moby team and the Moby service can be a useful tool to supplement best practices training and professional development in the areas of safety awareness. Communicating your location information privately and securely, to only those important to you, is a very powerful solution.
Moby was designed to keep real estate professionals safe, whether hosting open houses, visiting vacant properties, or working late at night. A free app for the BlackBerry, iPhone, and coming soon for Android, Moby alerts a users chosen contacts with a request for assistance, and provides an interactive map of the users location. Alerts can be triggered by a single button, and powerful private location sharing features provide peace of mind for ones inner circle of contacts. For a small monthly fee, alerts can be monitored 24x7 by Mobys nationwide security center.
Though nothing takes the place of tangible skills, techniques, and awareness acquired in hands-on classroom training environments offered by Mr. Wooten and the SAFE team, says Conal Campbell, Director of Alliances for Moby, Moby can easily fit into the processes and busy lives of todays real estate professional. To kick off the National Association of REALTORS® Safety Month with SAFE at our side is a real honor and we encourage all involved with real estate or interested in safety to listen to Andrew when he visits your city.
On September 9th at 9am EST, Mr. Wooten will attempt to break the Guinness record for the Largest Business Lesson held in Multiple Venues by conducting a live safety seminar connecting Florida REALTORS® 30 satellite associations. He will return to the airwaves September 12 at 1130am to conduct a Social Media & Cyber Safety webinar. Moby is available for free from BlackBerry App WorldTM, iPhone App Store, and the Moby website (http://www.mymoby.com/get), with pre-registration available for Android here: http://www.mymoby.com/product/android.
