Winners will be notified by email. First prize winner will need to provide an address to receive their prize. -Send an email to email@example.com containing your name and email address, a link to a .zip file containing your artwork, as well as a short paragraph on how you made, including the name of the images, and a short artist backgrounder; if you have artist website, a URL to your website.
With your participation, you authorize Runtime to publish the supplied materials including backgrounder and URL with its products and on its website. Runtime reserves the right to edit information provided.
Helpful are some helpful hints:
Most adventure games have images at 90 degrees of where the "player" is standing, so the more images you build in that fashion, the better.
You should watch the direction of the "sun" in your renders since a player moves from one location to the next by way of a blended transition.
This is supposed to be fun, not work. Have fun and don't be afraid to really create something unique, inventive, cool. Your work will get exposed to thousands of developers worldwide for fun, glory, and who knows, contract work?:-)
If you have any questions about the contest, we've set up a thread on Meshbox Design's Contest News Forum at http://meshbox.com/phpBB/viewforum.php?f=10 (free registration required).
