Roland Announces MP-60 Digital Piano

By DMN Staff Writer
Roland has announced the MP-60 Digital Piano, featuring an 88-note Progressive Hammer-Action Keyboard designed to have the responsiveness and touch of an acoustic piano.

The MP-60 includes improved stereo-sampled piano sounds that capture nuances such as the sound of the hammer striking the strings. The selection of instrument tones includes harpsichord, strings and acoustic bass, and there are eight levels of reverb, plus chorus and Sympathetic Resonance effects.

The MP-60 also includes A built-in two-track Song Recorder for recording performances on the fly, and an onboard metronome. Two 20-watt speakers are built in. Additional features include a music rest and Fixed Damper, Soft and Sostenuto pedals for dynamic playing. Stereo headphones are included as well.
