Rocket Matter Launches 2.0 Release with Document Assembly, Custom Fields(January 25, 2012)
Boca Raton, FL (PRWEB) January 25, 2012
Rocket Matter®,the leading cloud-based legal practice management and time and billing software for small to mid-sized law firms, today announces the 2.0 release of their flagship software, including the addition of major features document assembly and custom fields.
Document assembly allows users to merge their client and matter data, already stored in Rocket Matter, with templated legal forms, creating instantaneous new legal documents. Since Rocket Matter tracks time and generates invoices, a billable entry can be automatically created as well. In order to support the wide variety of needs from different legal practice areas, Rocket Matter now features unlimited custom fields for matters and client information.
For the first time in the cloud and for the first time on Macs, attorneys have software that can instantly create new legal documents, store them, and bill for them, says Larry Port, CEO of Rocket Matter. Our 2.0 release is a major step forward for cloud legal software. The document assembly and custom field combination offers incredible power while adhering to our well-known ease-of-use philosophy. Creating a new document with existing matter and client information literally takes the click of a mouse.
Since Rocket Matter is a cloud-based legal software product that runs in a browser, users can generate documents on PCs, Macs, even tablet computers and smartphones such as iPads®, iPhones®, and Droids®. Custom data fields can be set at a system level, available for all matters and clients, and can also be set on individual records as well.
In addition to the document assembly and custom field upgrades, Rocket Matter 2.0 features navigational enhancements to locate information more quickly. The initiative resulted in an overhaul of the marketing site, new homepage explainer video, and follows closely on the heels of Evernote® Integration, announced in November of 2011.
