San Rafael, CA (Vocus/PRWEB) March 18, 2011
RipplFX, Inc. (http://www.ripplfx.com), a producer and developer of animated, interactive mobile apps, along with Seasons Studios, a company dedicated to children and family educational entertainment, announce the release of 'Blimps & Whales' and 'Count Broccula' digital storybooks, the first two titles from its RipplBook division. Both are available now for iPad for $3.99 each and iPhone®/iPod touch for $1.99 each on the App Store. For additional information and to view preview videos, visit the RipplFX website.
RipplFX adapted 'Blimps & Whales' and 'Count Broccula' from traditional storybooks published by Seasons Studios. Enhanced features include animation, individual words that highlight when read aloud, professional narration, background audio effects, and special, interactive pages. In addition, audio can be recorded by a familiar voice to provide extra comfort for the child.
We look at each project individually and apply a variety of technology tools to enhance storytelling for example, animation, background audio, and interactivity. It's exciting to bring a storybook to life for today's digital media devices, said Nicole Lundeen, Founder and CEO of RipplFX, Inc. We are thrilled to launch our RipplBook division with these two extremely fun, educational titles from Bethany Argisle and Dr. Elson Haas, Co-Founders of Seasons Studios.
The market for interactive book apps is growing exponentially, continued Lundeen. RipplFX has the latest tools to become a leader in quality services for animation, interactivity, and development of all categories of book apps for any mobile platform.
'Blimps & Whales 'is a love story about two very different friends, a blimp and a whale. It conveys a message of love between those different from us. It is a delightful journey of friendship between sky and sea, which also promotes the protection of our delicate natural world. An interactive whale migration map is included that uses animation and voice action areas, where you can hear the actual call a whale makes while you learn its name and shape. For ages 3 and up.
The theme of 'Count Broccula' is Eat your vegetables before they eat you! A little boy has a comic adventure while overcoming his fear of eating vegetables, especially broccoli. At the end, you take an interactive walk with him in his happy garden and learn the names and shapes of his newly found Veggie Friends. For ages 4 and up.
