Riedel Sponsors ?Taste of NAB Road Show

To bring samples of new technology introduced at NAB to engineers, technicians and consultants (June 22, 2005)

Setting a traveling educational forum in motion is no easy task, but Larry Bloomfields dedication to keeping all broadcasters informed about technological advances fuels the success of his four-year old road show, ?A Taste of NAB. The shows mission is to bring samples of new technology introduced at the massive NAB conference / convention to engineers, technicians and consultants who either didnt get there, or simply want a more in depth review of the shows highlights.

Riedel Communications, a leading manufacturer and pioneer in intercom technology, is serving as a Road Show sponsor for the second consecutive year. Armed with Riedels Artist-S matrix intercom system, the Companys 3 key-panels and their award winning Performer digital party-line system, Bloomfield brings local broadcasters up to speed on the latest intercom technology available in the industry today.

Bloomfield uses local SBE and SMPTE Chapter meetings across the country for his venues. ?A Taste of NAB will make approximately 72 visits across the country in 2005 within a six-month span.

Bloomfield is the originator and publisher of Tech-Notes - a web site dedicated to the technology of television. ?A Taste of NAB was originally launched in 2002 with 31 stops and 450 attendees. In 2004 the show covered over 18,000 miles. ?Obviously we will not take the place of NAB, but we can bring a part of it with us, says Bloomfield. ?Riedel and our other Underwriters are industry professionals who understand that education is the key to success.
