Redbox and Signal were honored with the Forrester Groundswell Award for its breakthrough "10 Days of Deals" campaign, which delivered on Redbox's goal of continually looking for creative ways to bring new customers to Redbox and to reward loyal customers. The 10 Days of Deals SMS campaign, conducted in May 2011, offered anywhere from 10 cents to $1.50 off movie rentals when consumers simply texted DEALS to 727272. The campaign pulled in over 1.5 million texts in 10 days and added more than 200,000 unique subscribers to the Redbox text club.
