Recent Brosix Web Control Panel Upgrades
(October 03, 2012)(PRWEB) October 03, 2012
Brosix has announced changes to its web control panel, offering more features than ever before. With these additions, users will find it easier to remain secure, grant access to users, and import contact information.
In the past, the web control panel offered all of the basic features that clients have come to expect. However, the company has decided not to stand pat and has rolled out an updated version of the control panel
There are three primary changes to be aware of:
1. New login field. Users will no longer sign into their account with the network name. Instead, they will use their email address to log in. This move will help ensure a high level of security.
2. Accounts with limited rights can now be granted by the administrator. This was one of the most popular requests that the company has received over the past few months.
At this point, an administrator can give limited rights with certain levels of access only to the users who need it. This is perfect for organizations in which high-level executives need to grant access to personnel in individual departments.
3. Import into groups. Users are now able to import contact information into groups. New imported user accounts can also be assigned to a special group.
Although the previous web control panel was something that most users enjoyed, we have decided to make a few changes to add another level of security as well as more flexibility for users, said Stefan Chekanov, CEO of Brosix.
Above all else, we were able to give administrators the ability to add accounts with limited rights. This is something that a lot of clients have been hoping for and we know that it will go a long way in helping them stay organized with interoffice communication.
Despite the fact that these changes appear to be minor on the surface, they will go a long way in improving security and functionality for all Brosix users.
