RealViz Releases ReTimer SD

Mac OS X version coming in January By Dave Nagel
RealViz has just released ReTimer SD for WIndows and says that a version will be shipping for Mac OS X in January. ReTimer is a plugin for a variety of motion graphics, compositing and video editing applications that's designed to produce smooth retiming of video footage.

According to RealViz, ReTimer will work with Adobe AFter Effects and compatible hosts, including Discreet Combustion and Apple Final Cut Pro. It allows users to speed up or slow down the frame rate of any video footage or image sequence in standard-definition NTSC and PAL formats. For converting sequences to slow motion, it automatically generates in between frames. It can also add motion blur for fast-action sequences.

ReTimer SD is available now for Windows, with a Mac OS X version expected in January. It sells for $790. For more information, visit
