RGB Spectrum Ships ComputerWall III

Multi-screen controller offers true real time display (September 08, 2004)

RGB Spectrum introduces the new ComputerWall III multi-screen display controller for mission critical video/data wall applications, including command centers, control rooms, communication hubs, network operations centers, presentation venues, and command centers. The ComputerWall III displays high resolution graphics, video, and HDTV sources in real time across a 2 x 2, 1 x 2, 1 x 3, or 1 x 4 screen configurations. Larger walls can be served using multiple ComputerWall units.

The ComputerWall III supports a wide range of input signals: high resolution RGB, DVI, HDTV, NTSC/PAL, S-Video, and component video. It accepts signals at up to 1600 x 1200 pixel resolution and converts them to any desired RGB or DVI format. The ComputerWall provides unsurpassed performance with full real time display of inputs at up to 80 frames per second. Inputs can be cropped, stretched, panned, and zoomed to emphasize areas of particular interest. The ComputerWall's high quality processing maintains fine image detail and resolution, a key benefit when images are magnified and high ambient light conditions exist.

RGB Spectrum's ComputerWall III provides true real time display of multiple hi-res computer and video sources on 2x2, 1x2, 1x3, or 1x4 screen arrays for mission critical applications.

The ComputerWall offers built-in scaling of computer or video signals, "plug and play" automatic signal synchronization, support for virtually any display device, inter-screen spacing (bezel) compensation, and high performance 24-bit color processing. The ComputerWall III's powerful 100x zoom provides the ability to extract portions of an image to emphasize a particular area of interest. User-selectable output signal parameters ensure a perfect match with any monitor, projector, cube, or flat-panel display.

A 1x2 configuration is an ideal solution for displaying 16:9 HDTV images up to 1920x1080p resolution on standard projectors or displays. In a 2x2 configuration, signals up to 1600x1200 resolution can be displayed.
