REZN8 Selects Power Players for Advisory Board(August 20, 2001)
The advisory board consists of five members from various disciplines such as television, telecommunications, marketing, interactive ventures as well as international media. Each member will serve as an expert in his field and provide input on strategic advice and direction to Paul Sidlo, founder and CEO of REZN8.
Robert Block is a key player within the communications industry, pioneering roles in commercial and pay television and cellular phone operation. Block is co-founder, chairman and CEO of International Communication Technologies Inc. (ICT). His role on the REZN8 advisory board will include advising on strategic corporate planning, technology developments and communication structuring and negotiations.
Walter Dunn had a long and distinguished career with The Coca-Cola Company, serving in several positions, such as director and senior vice president in the Office of the Chairman. In that capacity, Dunn was instrumental in increasing sales for large-scale, highly visible accounts as a strategic consultant and manager. In his term, he was responsible for negotiating significant agreements that account for the widespread presence and availability of Coca-Cola. Dunn's role on the board will include strategic corporate planning as well as increasing company visibility through partnerships with future clients.
Michael Finley is president of Verizon Wireless in Southern California, Verizon Wireless' largest region. Before becoming president, Finley served as vice president and general manager in Sacramento and was vice president of sales in Ohio for Airtouch Cellular. Finley will be advising REZN8 on telecommunication trends and monitoring new business opportunities in this area.
Richard ("Rick") Gentile has an extensive background in major international sporting event production. Like REZN8, Gentile's work in this area has earned him 10 Emmy Awards. Recently, Gentile was a senior vice president and executive producer for the 2000 Paralympics Games. Prior to that, Gentile served in senior executive positions at CBS Sports for many years. As a result of his vast experience, Gentile was named as a member of the International Olympic Committee's Radio & TV Committee, a membership he continues to hold today. In his capacity as a REZN8 board member, Gentile will advise on major event production activities such as sports on a domestic and international level, as well as on the technical aspects of current and future clients.
Archie Purvis brings more than 20 years of domestic and international marketing and sales experience developed through associations with diverse companies such as Capital Cities/ABC, Polaroid, MCA and General Foods. Because of his extensive knowledge in marketing affairs, Purvis established Purvis Enterprises Inc. (PEI) in 1994 to identify and develop new business opportunities, investments in multimedia projects and engagements in theatrical and television program acquisition and distribution. As a REZN8 board member, Purvis will relay information regarding new business opportunities as well as monitoring and advising on related projects.
