RE:Vision Updates After Effects PluginsMotion Blur Pro 2 supports separate foreground and background blurs
ReelSmart Motion Blur 2.0 adds control over how far pixels are tracked. According to the company, this can reduce the amount of incorrect blurring that can occur when objects in a scene pass over one another. The Pro version also now supports foreground and background separation using a mask. With this feature, the two layers are tracked, interpolated and blurred separately. According to the company, the filter uses a proprietary algorithm to track the background even when it's obscured by the foreground.
Video Gogh receives a minor update to 2.6 According to RE:Vision, the update reduces "popping" in painted animations when animating brush strokes.
FInally, ReelSmart Shade/Shape has been updated to 1.2.1. The new version fixes a bug that had caused the Macintosh version to render black frames in Adobe Premiere 6. Shade/Shape is a plugin that's designed to convert 2D elements into 3D-rendered objects.
