RE:Vision Releases RE:Flex for ShakeWarping and morphing tool supports Mac, WIndows, Linux versions
RE:Flex uses Shake's own roto and drawing tools to create warps and morphs within a composite. RE:Flex is not mesh-based, but rather allows users to create freeform paths that don't have to be connected or closed to line up features for producing the effect. It also offers automated image registration features.
The package includes two plugins: RE:Flex Warp and RE:Flex Morph. Both operate in eight and 16 bits per channel and allow the user to set boundaries for the warp and morph effects.
RE:Flex for Shake is available now for Shake 2.51 or later and supports Mac OS X, WIndows and Linux. For a limited time, it will sell for $595, after which it will sell for $795. Render-only nodes are also available for $295 or in a package of four for $795. For more information, visit http://www.revisionfx.com
