R11 C4D QuickTip #02

Using HUD elements to set Keyframes By Ko Maruyama
In this QuickTip, I'll show you how easy it is to set keyframes with the HUD with R11.  Of course, you could create something similar in earlier version, but it was never this easy.  It's a great way to use the most of your screen without navigating all the way back to the attributes window.

I'm putting together a few separate tutorials that I hope will help you with the way you use C4D when you're creating your motion graphics.  There are so many little techniques that you may have overlooked, forgotten, or just plain didn't know about.  I wanted to take this week to remind you about all of those little ways that you can work a little easier in Cinema4D.

Recently I spent several weeks working in Autodesk Maya.  I appreciate many different 3D applications - (kinda like a Julio & Willie song.  You know what I'm talking about).   There were a bunch of tools that I really missed in Maya while creating motion graphics.  However, some tools inspired me to wonder "how do I do that in C4D?".   Some of the Maya artists asked me how some tasks were completed.  So here they are.

Today: Using the HUD to create your keyframes.  You don't have to drive all the way down to the attributes window.
