Quick Tip: Automatically Set Page Titles in Adobe GoLive
First, look under Edit>Preferences>Modules and make sure the Set Title extension is enabled under the list of Extend Scripts as seen below in Figure 1. If it isn't already enabled, just click the checkbox next to the Set Title extension, click OK, and quit and relaunch GoLive.
When the Set Title extension is enabled, GoLive will display a warning dialog any time you save a web page with a page title that:
The tiny dialog box shown below in Figure 2 offers four options:
1. To ignore the warning and use a generic page title click the Don't Set button.
2. To assign a custom page title enter the title in the text entry field and click the Set button.
3. To use the document name as the page title select the Set title to document name option and click the Set button. For example, if you save the page as "products.html" and use this option the page title will be "products."
4. To permanently disable the Set Title warning dialog select the Don't remind me again
option and then click Set or Don't Set for the current page. To use the Set Title warnign
again just re-enable the Set Title extension and relaunch GoLive as described above.
