Quantel eQ Helps Malvarrosa Media Move to HD

Valencia post house commits to high resolution future with Quantel editing powerhouse (February 22, 2006)

Malvarrosa Media, has purchased a Quantel eQ multi-resolution editing/effects/ grading/ mastering system to be a the heart of its move to provide full-on HD post production capabilities to its film and advertising client base.

Malvarrosas eQ system is configured with 160 minutes of HD storage and is equipped with the QColor in-context colour correction option, adding further new business potential for the company alongside its move into HD.

Malvarrosa Media Executive Producer, Pedro Pastor, sees the eQ as a powerful new magnet for existing customers as well as opening new business avenues. ?Add eQ to our offer means a major new incentive for our customers to work with us at Malvarrosa Media, and it also of course sends out a bold message about our commitment to the HD future, Pastor said.

In purchasing the eQ, Malvarrosa Media took advantage of Quantels trade-up programme to move up from its Quantel Editbox system, one of the mainstays of its post production operations for many years.
