Quamtel Expands Its Board of Directors

DALLAS, June 18, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Quamtel, Inc. (OTCBB:QUMI), today announced the addition of Leo Hinkley, to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Hinkley has been an active member of the investor relations (IR) profession, investment industry, and Wall Street community for 28 years and has been registered with or a member of the Securities and Exchange Commission, National Association of Securities Dealers, National Futures Association, Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the Florida Department of Banking and Finance, the Florida Bankers Association, Florida Association of School Business Officials (FASBO), and the National Investor Relations Institute (international, New York and Florida chapters). In the course of his career, he has worked with research analysts and portfolio managers from many of the largest financial and investment institutions worldwide.

Mr. Hinkley currently serves as the Investor Relations Officer of BankAtlantic Bancorp (NYSE:BBX) and the BFC Financial Corporation (Pink Sheets:BFCF). Previously, he was Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications for large market cap ECI Telecom (Nasdaq:ECIL), a global provider of advanced telecom and data solutions to leading carriers and service providers worldwide.

He has appeared in Investor's Business Daily, Smart Money Magazine, Barons Magazine Online, the Los Angeles Daily News, Reuters, Dow Jones and Bloomberg News services, CNBC, regional and local television and radio in Florida, as well as additional newspapers and magazines worldwide. He has been a frequent presenter throughout the U.S. and abroad at investment, banking, real estate, technology, as well as community and charity functions, including being a keynote speaker with the Governor of Connecticut at the Connecticut Technology Council at Yale University, SuperComm, and the General Assembly in New York, Atlanta and Miami together with investor conferences sponsored through AIPAC.

Locally, Mr. Hinkley serves on the Board of Directors (BOD) of the Broward County Crime Commission, is a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and Florida Bankers Association. Previously he served on the BOD of the National Investor Relations Institute-SF, the BOD's of the American Israel and Florida Israel Chambers of Commerce, the Executive Committee of the Florida IT Task Force, member of the International Engineering Consortium and SuperComm committee, Broward Alliance, Internet Coast, BOD of Tele-Flex Technologies, and an Advisor to the Lynn Chair in International Business at FAU. Mr. Hinkley has also been inducted into the Who's Who in Leadership in the United States, the Who's Who in International Business in Florida and Miami, and received Business Leader's Mover & Shakers Award which honored up-and-coming business leaders in South Florida.
