Pyxis Mobile Named as Finalist in TechAmerica Foundations Awards(May 03, 2011)
(PRWEB) May 03, 2011
Pyxis Mobile, provider of the only cross-device mobile application development platform designed to meet customers constantly changing needs, today announced that its platform has been selected as a finalist in the Software Category for TechAmerica Foundations American Technology Awards. Also known as The Termans, the awards bestow the only national Best Of titles that recognize all technology products and services across the technology industry. Nominations for the awards, named after Frederick Terman, who is widely credited as being the father of Silicon Valley, are vetted by industry experts and the TechAmerica Foundation leadership.
We are honored to be named a finalist in the Software Category, said Steven Levy, CEO of Pyxis Mobile. After we repositioned Pyxis Mobile from a point-solution mobile application company to the provider of the most agile, cross-device mobile application platform on the market, customers are now licensing our app development software to take full advantage of our robust technology. This award is yet another indication of how incredibly valuable our innovative platform is to our customers.
This year, we saw a number of nominations from many companies new to the competition, said Dallas Advisory Partners Founder and TechAmerica Foundation Chairman, David Sanders. We congratulate all of this years finalists, and look forward to celebrating their achievements with them at the Technology and Government Dinner.
The winners will be announced on June 15, 2011, at TechAmerica Foundations Ninth Annual Technology and Government Dinner in Washington, DC, which brings together hundreds of industry, congressional and government leaders to celebrate the partnership between industry and government.
