Proximity Undergoes Company-Wide RedesignPart of larger rebranding initiative (December 13, 2004)
Proximity Corporation, a leading media asset management company serving the television, film and post production, government and corporate industries, has completed a re-branding strategy with the launch of its new website and consistent branding across its product line and all of its visual communications. Proximity has also re-designed the graphical user interface of its flagship product, "artbox," as part of the company's overall re-branding strategy.
"All of the key components our audience associates with Proximity are being maintained and translated across all of our communications, including our company logo, web site, software user interface, and product packaging," said Joseph Oliver, Global Marketing Director, Proximity Corporation. "We believe that this re-branding allows us to communicate to our customer base in a more direct and modern way. Proximity has experienced significant new business growth throughout this past year. As we expand our existing customer base and move into new vertical markets, we want to achieve more impact with our brand."
Expanding on its traditional broadcast and post-production base, Proximity has recently begun reaching out to new markets, such as corporations and government entities, looking for rich media asset management solutions. By making it more scalable and platform agnostic, artbox is poised to enter new industries and deliver the same promise of true rich media asset management Proximity has provided to the broadcast industry for the past eight years.
Proximity's growth strategy incorporates integrator, reseller and OEM partnerships within the entertainment content management (ECM), advertising, corporate communications, post production, and medical imaging sectors. "We've taken our heritage brand and are moving forward in new directions, simultaneously strengthening our position within our core customer base," Oliver said. "As we gain additional business in new sectors, it's important that we maintain a consistent and progressive image."
Proximity was established in 1997 with offices in New York, London and Sydney. Proximity maintains close relationships with virtually all the major vendors in the broadcasting industry, enabling the company to provide comprehensive media asset management solutions across heterogeneous platforms to its customers. Proximity's Xenomax and Xenostore are the industry standard for the management and storage of video graphics and have won a Technology Emmy (Oct 2002.) Proximity products have a proven track record with installations in over 150 broadcasters across 16 countries.
