Propellerheads Contest Seeks Home for Zadak the Lousy Watchdog Robot

Entries available on Propellerhead website By DMN Staff Writer
ZadakPropellerhead Software, maker of audio software such as ReBirth and Reason, is having a contest to give away Zadak, the small robot that protected the Propellerheads' previous headquarters. The previous premises were broken into four times (not five!) in the last year, so the Propellerheads decided that Zadak needs a new home.

Entrants must register on the Propellerheads site at and guess Zadak's height. A drawing will be held in Stockholm, Sweden on December 22, 2001 and announced on the website. The winner will be invited to either Propellerheads' HQ in Sweden or to the NAMM show in California on January 17, 2001 at the winner's own expense -- or they can have Zadak mailed to them. Ten runner-ups will receive the famous Reason mouse pad.

Propellerhead Software is a privately owned company based in Stockholm, Sweden that was formed in 1994. Their software, including Rewire, ReBirth and the REX file format, is used extensively in dance music and electronica.
