Primera Adds Pioneer 106 to DVD Duplication Systems

New versions support DVD+R and DVD-R media By Dave Nagel
Primera Technology has announced new versions of its Composer and Bravo lines of DVD duplication systems. The new versions add a Pioneer 106 mechanism and now support DVD+R in addition to DVD-R. The systems are available now in their new configurations.

Included in the hardware updates are the Composer, ComposerPlus and ComposerMax optical disc duplicators and the Bravo Disc Publisher. The Bravo systems combine CD and DVD duplication with disc printing via an integrated 2,400 DPI CD/DVD printer. While Bravo supports Macintosh and Windows systems, Primera says that, at present, Bravo systems for the Macintosh will ship with DVD+R capabilities disabled owing to a compatibility issue. The new units write DVD-R and DVD+R at 4x speeds and CD-Rs at 16x speeds.

All of the new devices are currently available. For more information, visit
