PostWorks New York Hires Carol Jazwinski as VP Sales

(October 12, 2004)

PostWorks, New York, the east coast's most advanced and comprehensive post production resource, today announced the hiring of veteran New York City post production executive Carol Jazwinski as its new vice president of sales.  Company CEO David Rosen made the announcement.

Ms. Jazwinski joined Manhattan Transfer (which later became Company 3 New York) in 2000 as an executive handling post services for long-form accounts including TV series "The Job" for DreamWorks, "Sex & The City" and "The Wire" for HBO, "Fling" for Paramount, "Whoopi" for Carsey Werner and "Hope & Faith" for Touchstone, as well as numerous pilots.  Prior to that, she served at Post Perfect for seven years, establishing its reputation in episodic series with DreamWorks "Spin City", Paramount's "LateLine" and "Now & Again" and HBO's "Sex & The City" and "The Corner".  Simultaneously, she brought in broadcast graphics projects for The Late Show with David Letterman, CBS News, ABC Sports, Lee Hunt Associates and independent designers.

"We have greatly expanded our facilities and services over the past 18 months and sought to bolster our sales capabilities exponentially," said David Rosen.  "Based upon her extraordinary knowledge of our industry, her longstanding contacts and her boundless enthusiasm, we are very proud to welcome Carol onboard."

Ms. Jazwinski will work with PostWorks' director of sales and marketing Anne Bakoulis to expand sales efforts to ensure that targeted companies are made fully aware of PostWorks' full- service post offerings, and its commitments to quality and customer service.

"Over the past ten years, New York City experienced an explosion of primetime network and cable series shot and posted here, and I had the good fortune to work with most of them," Jazwinski began.  "From that perspective, I can say what sets PostWorks apart is that its core culture is long format; the company has grown up in entertainment.  Add to that its ability to deliver all the emerging technologies and practical services required by television, feature and documentary producers and you have a combination not seen in New York before.  I found it irresistible."

Before joining Post Perfect, Ms. Jazwinski served for five years as director of sales for broadcast design and animation firm Telezign, where her clients included Bravo, CNN, NBC Sports, TBS and TV stations across the United States.  Prior posts include producer and sales executive with Marvel Productions in New York and Los Angeles working on on-air and commercial cel animation projects for Hasbro, Mattel, Milton Bradley and Tonka, and a two-year stint as producer with New York's Charisma Productions, where she supplied graphic film animation to national CBS and ABC affiliates, CBS Sports and WCBS.
