Poser Goes ProeFrontier?s Steve Yatson discusses the new application
With more than 300,000 artists using Poser, making Poser a professional level tool was bound to happen. What was once a fun tool to do 3D figure design and animation has ventured into the pipelines of production. Poser Pro, eFrontiers newest product, promises to provide production based users a much more powerful tool to use.
Poser Pro users will be able to fully host Poser scenes in apps like Cinema 4D, 3D Studio Max, Maya, and Lightwave. By using COLLADA exchange format users will also find increased support in Photoshop CS3.
Other powerful and useful additions are a 64-bit render engine, a network render queue, background rendering, and HDRI support. Poser Pro will be available through the eFrontier website. Visit www.e-frontier.com
I had a chance to speak to eFrontiers Steve Yatson at this year's SIGGRAPH.
