Poser 7 Pro

Easy Character Animation By Ko Maruyama
At SIGGRAPH 2007, I was able to check out the E-Frontier booth to see what Poser 7 Pro has in the works.  I was surprised to see that in addition to the new model creation/import potential in the works, E-Frontier also has plans to export to Maya, Max and CINEMA 4D.  One of the features that already exists in Poser 7 is easy rendering and animation options that make the application so intuitive to use.

Steve Rathmann had a chance to show me some of the previous features and in this short movie clip (see below), he was able to demo how easy it is to create some facial animations, and quickly render your results.  These features are already in Poser 7, and Poser 7 Pro promises to offer even more features.

Poser Pro now supports the COLLADA exchange format for content production, pre-visualization, gaming and film production, and offers the ability to fully host Poser scenes in professional applications such as Maxons CINEMA 4D, Autodesks 3ds Max and Maya, and Newteks Lightwave. Other features include increased support for Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended (via COLLADA) and export of HDR imagery.

In addition, N-Sided will provide "QUIDAM for Poser" based on their QUIDAM character creation software. QUIDAM features the ability to import and export Poser character files, which will be bundled exclusively with Poser Pro, rounding out a complete solution set for professionals that brings Poser content and animations into their workflow.

For a limited time before the Poser Pro release, current Poser 7 users will be eligible for special upgrade pricing on Poser Pro. Order Poser 7 now to qualify.
