Pond5 Plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 Software Launches at IBC 2012

  (September 07, 2012)

New York City, NY and Amsterdam (PRWEB) September 07, 2012

Pond5 and Adobe® have teamed up to develop a one-of-a-kind plugin that gives video editors seamless access to the largest collection of royalty-free stock videos, including hundreds of thousands of audio clips. Made exclusively for Adobe® Premiere® Pro CS6 software, the plugin gives editors access to over 1.5 million video clips, music tracks, and sound effects.

Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 users can now make stock media content from Pond5 an integral part of their overall workflow. Editors can automatically import free watermarked comps into their projects by a simple push of a button, while the Pond5 search results page features an unlimited scroll, eliminating the need for multiple click-throughs. Users can also store video and audio clips through Pond5 media bins and can access bins originally created on the Pond5 website.

"The new Pond5 plugin provides users with incredible access to video and audio content to use in their Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 workflows," said Al Mooney, product manager for professional video solutions at Adobe. "Adobe is pleased to partner with Pond5 to offer customers the fluid ability to access and include fantastic, high-quality royalty free stock media as part of the editorial process."

As a broadcast partner, Pond5 will be committed to providing customers of Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 with innovative solutions related to their workflows, said Tom Bennett, co-founder and CEO of Pond5.

Registered users of Pond5 will have the ability to purchase and download high-res clips, access general account management tools, and apply prepaid credits. Registration is free on the Pond5 website. The plugin is compatible with Mac and Windows versions of CS6 and is free for immediate download at http://www.pond5.com/Adobe. Both Adobe and Pond5 will showcase demos of the panel at IBC. Visitors can also view an online demo of it on Adobe TV.
