Plus Intros 3-Pound Projectors

U4-136 offers XGA resolution, 1,500-lumen brightness By Dave Nagel
Plus Vision today announced two new models in its lineup of U4-series projectors. The new models include the U4-136 and U4-112, both weighing in at three pounds, and offering SVGA to XGA resolutions.

The new U4-136 offers a resolution of 1,024 x 768, a brightness of 1,500 lumens and a contrast ratio of 1,500:1. The U4-112 offers a resolution of 800 x 600, a brightness of 1,300 lumens and a contrast ratio of 1,500:1. Both models are based on DLP technology from Texas Instruments and offer a manual zoom lens, digital zoom, digital keystone correction and a presentation timer. They also include connectors for DVI (with support for RGB and component), S-video and composite video, as well as compatibility with various HD formats. The U4-136 also features CompactFlash card support.
