Plastic Mobile Wakes up Monday's Market(December 21, 2011)
Toronto, Ontario (PRWEB) December 21, 2011
The Plastic Mobile team spent Monday morning rubbing elbows with the traders at the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) after opening up trading to celebrate the launch of ETF Central, the latest mobile innovation for Exchange Traded Funds management.
Plastic Mobile CEO Sep Seyedi and COO Melody Adhami, in partnership with Claymore Investments, a subsidiary of Guggenheim Funds Services Group, Inc., were invited down to Bay Street to open the market with the traditional ringing of the bell.
Plastic Mobiles Queen of apps, Melody Adhami, arrived on the trading floor this morning excited to participate in such an honour: Were thrilled to be a part of such a fantastic financial tradition with Claymore Investments, and to celebrate with them the importance that they have placed on innovating in the mobile space by launching the ETF Central app. Its really exciting to see mobile becoming such an integral part of innovation with so many of our clients.
Claymore Investments (Claymore), a leading provider of intelligent Exchange- Traded Funds (ETFs) in Canada, launched the new free mobile application for BlackBerry, PlayBook, iPhone and iPad devices earlier this month. The application allows users to view market prices of all TSX listed ETFs, create and track their ETF portfolio, view ETF news and educational resources, link to all online brokerages to trade ETFs, track upcoming ETF events and more.
ETFs represent a sizable industry but public awareness about them has been very limited. Our goal with the app was to create a comprehensive mobile experience that educates novice investors as well as assist the most senior traders said Melody Adhami, President and COO, Plastic Mobile. By creating mobile apps that educate and manage ETFs, Claymore has opened an arena where users can explore alternative investment opportunities."
ETF Central is available for download for free at either Apples App Store or BlackBerrys App World.
