Planar Systems is launching a new model in its high-end line of PX-series flat-panel displays. The new PX191 is a 19-inch LCD monitor designed with a high contrast ratio and brightness. It's expected to ship in May.

It has a pixel response time of 16 ms and a native resolution of 1,280 x 1,024, along with a horizontal and vertical viewing angle of 170 degrees. The monitor is mounted on Planar's new QuadStand base stand, which is designed for simple height, swivel and pivot adjustment. And it includes both analog and DVI-D connectors.
