Physician Usage of Mobile Charge Capture on the Rise

During 2012, Ingenious Med saw a 380 percent increase in the usage of its impower mobile applications. The company reports that now 21 percent of licensed impower clinicians are using mobile devices, and that there are more than 100,000 encounters captured monthly through impower mobile.

Of these users, 92 percent are using devices running on Apples iOS, compared to eight percent who are using Googles Android operating system. Further, 30 percent of the encounters captured by impower mobile are done so on a tablet, such as Apples iPad or Samsungs Galaxy tab.
