Photoshop Elements 2.0 ArrivesUpdated image editor supports Mac OS X
According to Adobe, with Elements 2.0, users can apply common lighting and color correction in a single dialog window while viewing the original side by side with the modified version. It also includes a Photoshop-style file browser and access to help via a search field in the toolbar.
Photoshop Elements 2.0 also includes new color correction, compositing and creative tools. Changes include:
- An updated Color Variations feature that now includes tips and a preview of real-time color adjustments.
- Selection Brush for masking unwanted areas of a photo.
- New paintbrush options for simulating oils, watercolors, charcoal, pastels and canvas textures.
- Capture of individual frames from video clips.
Photoshop Elements 2.0 supports Mac and Windows, including Mac OS X. It's available for $99. For more information, visit http://www.adobe.com.
