Philadelphia Phillies Choose ProVenue(R) by Tickets.com(R) for Citizens Bank Park(June 27, 2012)
COSTA MESA, CA and PHILADELPHIA, PA -- (Marketwire) -- 06/27/12 -- The Philadelphia Phillies are continuing their drive to improve the fan experience and their operational efficiency through technology by signing a long-term agreement to use the ProVenue platform from Tickets.com.
The Phillies previously implemented ProVenue at Bright House Field in Clearwater, Fla., for 2012 Spring Training as well as for their Class A affiliate, the Clearwater Threshers, as final due diligence to validate the system's suitability for their needs. With the tremendous success of this process, they will move their regular season operations to the system for the start of the 2013 Major League Baseball season.
The Phillies desired to invest in a platform that readily scales to serve all of their properties on a single database. ProVenue's Oracle database structure combined with the Phillies' use of the latest SAP Business Intelligence tools allows them to maximize the value of their data. This architecture allows the Phillies to continue and expand on their custom analytical approach to reporting.
