Pantone Mourns the Loss of VP Michael C. Garin

Serves company and printing industry for almost 42 years (August 27, 2004)

Pantone, Inc. sadly mourns the loss of our long time Vice President Michael C. Garin. His dedication to his job and loyalty to the firm will be sorely missed. Mike was 64 years old and would have celebrated his 42nd year of service at Pantone this October. He was recognized by the printing industry as a leading contributor to its advancement. He was instrumental in the development and evolution of the PANTONE MATCHING SYSTEM, the global standard for color specification and communication. Mike served on several committees of the National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers and on the Board of Directors of the Metro New York Printing Ink Association and was a graduate of the New York School of Printing. There will be a tremendous void at Pantone without Mike; however, his numerous contributions over the years will continue to impact the future of our business.
