Pacific Image Launches PrimeFilm 3650u Film ScannerNew model offers 3,600 x 3,600 optical resolution
The PF3650u is a USB 2.0/1.1-based scanner offering a 3,600 x 3,600 optical resolution using an LED light source rather than a CCFL for color conformance. It produces digital images at 3,456 x 5,184 in 48-bit color with a dynamic range of 3.2. The PF3650u includes Digital ICE3 technology from Applied Science Fiction for cleaning, correcting and restoring film images, and it ships with CyberviewX. The latest version of CyberviewX includes color management with 17 negative film terms, 13 positive profiles and 10 black and white profiles for accommodating most current film brands. It's also bundled with Adobe Photoshop Elements and supports TWAIN-compliant image editors.
