PROMAX&BDA Partners With The Library Of CongressAnnounces the creation of largest collection of TV promos in the world (June 10, 2005)
PROMAX&BDA and the Library of Congress announced today that they have created the largest collection of television promos in the world and are making it available to the public as part of the Library's permanent collection.
Commemorating the 50th anniversary of the founding of the worlds leading trade association for promotion, marketing, and design executives in electronic media, the collection, to be known as The PROMAX&BDA Collection, contains over 10,000 winning promotional spots from PROMAX&BDA competitions worldwide since 1999.
Materials in the collection will be available for access by researchers at the Motion Picture, Broadcasting and Recorded Sound Division at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.
