PESA Strengthens Sales Channel With New AppointmentsStrengthen and focus the company?s sales efforts to better meet the needs of its customers (March 08, 2006)
PESA, part of the QuStream group of companies and a leading provider of analog and digital video and audio equipment for broadcast applications, today announced three new appointments that will strengthen and focus the companys sales efforts to better meet the needs of its customers.
Industry veteran Kent Cawthorne has been named vice president of distribution sales for the Americas, from Canada to South America, with responsibility for all PESA dealer and distributor relationships in these regions. Cawthorne joins PESA as part of the QuStream acquisition of Fortel DTV. Earlier, Cawthorne was vice president of sales and marketing for OSG Group and has held senior management and sales roles at Grass Valley Group, Panasonic Security Systems & Digital Imaging, Pacifiq Technologies, and Sony Electronics in the United States and Latin America. He will be based in the Chicago area.
PESA has appointed Kirk White to the role of vice president of federal government sales. His extensive experience in the broadcast industry spans more than 30 years and includes work in television broadcast production, systems integration, and sales. White joined PESA in 1989 and prior to this promotion served as the companys Southeast regional sales manager. He will be based in Orlando, Fla.
Randy Lloyd is PESAs new vice president of strategic sales. Like White, he joined the company in 1989 and since that time has provided distinguished performance in the companys sales and strategic development. In his new role with PESA, Lloyd will focus on developing larger accounts and building relationships with broadcast stations and station groups. He will work out of PESA offices in the Dallas area.
