PESA Names John D. Terrey West Coast Sales Manager

Industry veteran who brings more than 20 years of experience to this role (September 02, 2005)

PESA, a leading provider of analog and digital video and audio equipment, today announced the appointment of John D. Terrey to the position of West Coast sales manager. An industry veteran who brings more than 20 years of experience to this role, Terrey will be responsible for PESA product sales, support, and business development in California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii, and Alaska.

"John's wide-ranging experience in broadcast sales and management, coupled with his long-time work within the West Coast region, enables him to become an immediate contributor to PESA's ongoing success in important U.S. markets," said Bob McAlpine, PESA's senior vice president of sales and marketing. "We're very pleased to welcome him to the company, particularly in this time of strategic growth."

Terrey joins PESA having served most recently as vice president at DK-Technologies America, a leading manufacturer of professional audio and video systems for studio and broadcast applications. During four years with DK-Technologies, he helped the company's U.S.-based subsidiary realize its largest growth worldwide -- establishing and maintaining a North American distribution network for the company, overseeing development of long-term strategic partnerships, training members of the company's dealer network, and providing technical support to clients.

Previously, Terrey worked for ProTeleVision Technologies (PTV) as sales director; Videotek, where he also was director of sales; and Philips TV Test Equipment. He began his career with Leader Instruments, serving as regional sales manager in the western United States.

Terrey will be based in Phoenix, Ariz., and report directly to McAlpine.
